Welcome to Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystems Elders (NICHE), a national program of NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. I invite you to join the growing network of healthcare delivery organizations dedicated to creating age-friendly care for an aging nation. Our award-winning nursing practice model positions nurses to lead substantive changes in the design and delivery of nursing care to improve clinical outcomes, reduce cost of care, and meet national quality goals. Our cost-effective and scalable practice model develops workforce competences in geriatric nursing and integrates evidence-based practice guidelines that enables nurses to manage common health conditions and hospital-aquired complications that disproportionately affect older adults.
